My recent stay at Tamaran House during Easter was nothing short of delightful, perfectly set against the backdrop of Las Palmas' stunning coastline. From the moment I arrived, I truly felt at home, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff who were eager to share their tips and local secrets. The space is cozy and relaxed, with a fantastic rooftop terrace where you can unwind while soaking in the views. I particularly enjoyed my individual room, complete with a double bed and a private balcony—ideal for a working conservationist like myself who sometimes needs to catch up on emails without interruption. The hostel's prime location, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Las Canteras Beach, made exploring easy. The community vibe here was amazing, with activities like snorkeling that encouraged everyone to mingle. All in all, Tamaran House is a gem that strikes the perfect balance between comfort, community, and excellent value for money—something I’ll certainly return to on my next visit to Gran Canaria!
